Travis was born and raised in Brooksville, Florida. Music has been a major influence in his life from childhood. Growing up in his home, music was always playing from somewhere. From the mournful sounds of David Houston and Tammy Wynette in one room, to the soulful sounds of The Temptations and Bobby Vinton in another, he was well versed by the time he left home. As a matter of fact, to this day, his parents' license plate still reads "He's Country And She's A Little Bit Rock And Roll." He has taken the country route......"It's my passion and my love." "I'll take the dirt road, it's all I know."

His influences include The Beatles, ZZ Top, CCR, Bad Company, George Strait, Garth Brooks, Alan Jackson, and many more.
After 35 years as an over-the-road trucker, he finally retired in 2004. Robin then began playing locally in several popular bands in the Tampa Bay area. Then, in August 2013, he met up with Travis Evans, and they formed Rebel Soul. Robin brings quick wit and charm to the stage, and he keeps everyone smiling and laughing all night long.

As a youth living in Massachusetts, Julie coordinated musicals for the neighborhood, sang in the church choir, played clarinet in the school band, and began studying guitar.
After getting married and moving to Florida, Julie fulfilled her love of music and performance in the church. She sang in multiple church musicals and worship teams, and she was a guest speaker and singer at many church events, women’s events, prisons, nursing homes, and assisted-living facilities. But her greatest musical gratification at that time was performing with Christian bands.
In her desire for new musical experiences, Julie began attending local blues jams, where she met Geno Marino and Robin Kelly.
“The first time I sang at a jam session, Geno was on lead guitar and Robin was on drums.”
Julie has been with Rebel Soul since 2015.
